Since 2009, SisterLove, Inc has been honoring inspirational women who have lived with HIV for 20 or more years through its '20/20 Leading Women Society'. In an effort to reach its goal of 2020 women by year 2020, SisterLove, Inc also inducts ten (10) HIV positive women per year with less than 20 years of being positive. The selected ten women have shown outstanding service in their efforts to help eradicate HIV and uplift anyone dealing with HIV. These selected women (including Anna E. Fowlkes) with less than 20 years will not receive their 20/20 award until they have lived with HIV for 20 years, but have been inducted as members of the SisterLove’s Leading Women Society.
